This Yellow floating heart (or dwarf waterlily) is a native British pond plant which came with my pond starter collection from Wetland Plants. It is planted quite deep and in a decent sized pot so may get quite large, which would be nice. It doesn’t look like much at the moment!

Sisyrinchium striatum
This is quite a robust plant which can tolerate very dry conditions. It is also very easy to split and I have made at least 4 plants in the same bed out of it. It does go black in windy conditions and looks untidy if not doing well.
