This oxygenator for the pond arrived as bareroot bunches in December 2020 with a pond starter kit from Wetland plants. This was sunk in an aquatic pot and fixed with stones on the second shelf of the pond. Will see how it does!
I bought this on impulse as I had a really nice Veronica at my Manchester Allotment and this one fitted my colour scheme. It got powdery mildew really badly straight away, but I increased watering and it seems to have recovered well. It’s even putting out some late flower spikes.
I really like the flowers and the upright habit on these wild Toadflax plants. They do just seem to appear in peoples gardens without them being planted. I brought one for a small amount when I saw one. It fits in well at the end on my main bed path, just doing its own thing.
