Some more little grape hyacinths bought a really good pack with lots of plants in on a whim. Planted amongst the primulas and round the bird table. These ones were bought from Summerseat in Bury. Planted in the bottom bed near the other ones and the other, other ones.
A pretty little spring blue flower (Winter windflower) added to the back of the bottom bed to blend the line to the woodland part. The flowers are both blue and white, which should be fun.

I bought this on impulse as I had a really nice Veronica at my Manchester Allotment and this one fitted my colour scheme. It got powdery mildew really badly straight away, but I increased watering and it seems to have recovered well. It’s even putting out some late flower spikes. It was moved in the […]
I was keen to grow an Iris as I have not done so before. This one should be a lovely blue colour. It has taken well in its first year and will hopefully thicken and flower next year.
This sea holly seems the have established well. It should flower next year. It was lifted in November 2020 and planted temporarily in a pot.
