Rubus idaeus ‘Ruby Beauty’

This was inspired from Monty Don on Gardeners world. A small, heavy fruiting patio Raspberry. Perfect for our little garden. Found online at J Parkers and a good plant was delivered. Bought a new pot from the Powderham Garden Centre for it to live in.

One of three Blueberry bushes Nicola bought as an impulse from Waitrose. They have done well and fruited in the first year. The pots aren’t really big enough though, so I don’t hold much hope of them lasting too long. 🙁 Blueberries produce wonderful autumn colours …

Rubus fruticosus ‘Thornfree’

Blackberry Thornfree. I planned to have a blackberry grown up and around the fence behind my border. Given enough time and a bit of training this might work … We’ll see. This bush did take quite some time to get away, but now (August 2020) has a couple of good canes running up the fence.
